A New Moon Note for Those of Us in the Middle
Changing your life in a dumpster fire is not for the faint!!
Hello my loves!! I hope you had a beautiful week and am sending you so many new moon blessings.
This week was a much needed reminder that yes we have a lot of work to do, but the vision for what’s possible is really beautiful and this is something we get to do TOGETHER - in community.
Astrologers have been talking about this year for a long time, but 1) sometimes we don’t understand when there’s a bunch of technical planetary language being used and 2) even though they were talking about the planets - the way it feels is unique to this time and to each of us.
What I do know and have been talking about for a while is that 2025 and 2026 are working to prepare us for the huge energetic shift that is coming in 2027 (Courtney and I have a great podcast on it if you are curious what that is). We are ready for this shift, and we get to be the ones to rebuild on the other side.
Here’s what is most alive for me right now: we are each being called to go through a transition so that we are able to show up for what is required to then build the world we all deserve.
For some, that looks like transitioning your business. Leaving a business. Starting a business. Making hard decisions so that you can scale a business. I’ve seen examples of each, and they’re all correct for the person experiencing it.
For some, that looks like transitioning your closest relationships. Getting a divorce. Reimagining your family life. Getting creative with your kids about what they want to do with their life after high school.
For some, that looks like a career pivot. For others, it’s going on a spiritual pilgrimage.
Whatever that looks like, your life is unfolding. Trusting your life is a huge piece of being able to be honest about what you do and don’t want, and make the changes that lead you to more of what you want.
If we have to live in a dumpster fire where we have very limited say about how long or how hot it’s going to burn, at least we can go through it in a way that empowers us to be more ourselves every single day.
It’s not possible to build a world where everyone thrives if no one is operating in true self. How could you? You build based on what you know about the people you are building for, and if they are all what we call in Human Design “not self” then you’re going to build not self!
The first step must be more people (clears throat - us) operating from true self. That means learning how to be honest about what does and does not work for you. It means more making decisions from a place of inner knowing, even if it makes those around you uncomfortable. That may or may not lead to big changes in your life, but it will always lead you directly to your uniqueness.
From there, it gets hard. You start being honest. When you start seeing results from listening to your inner knowing, it gets slippery fast. I think this is a specific challenge for those of us who want more from this life! Most of us are right here in this middle point, and our usual coping mechanisms are not getting us through because they are built off of the very systems that are crumbling.
If you are feeling this pressure, I want you to know you’re not alone. Those of us who have the deep desire for a better world are in this messy middle - the space where we have decided we are leaving the old way, but the new way has not fully come in yet is requiring the MOST from us.
It’s so vital that we stay encouraged and stay the course. These transformations we are going through are not just for us individually to feel better.
The transformation is necessary so that we can be living in true self (which just means truly in alignment with what your soul wants). Being in true self is what makes it possible to create the systems and infrastructure that we need for everyone to be able to thrive. So, when it feels like life or death going through these times…this is why!
What transformation are you going through? How is this all showing up? I would love to hear more about what you are personally navigating.
Sending so much love! I’m grateful to be in this together.
