Hello my dears! I hope that Maycember is treating you good. We are all swim team, and year end parties, and lining up a new school for my littlest for fall, and wrapping up soccer, and hot/cold/rain/hot/steam/cool and beautiful over here.
You know. Typical May!
However, this is no typical May my friends. There is a frequency underneath that we are all feeling and that can be kind of unsettling if you can’t name it.
Two things are slowly happening. It’s with two outer planets, and they don’t move very fast. That has the effect of creating a lot of build up (what we’re feeling now) and of elongating the impact (we feel the effects for longer).
The first is that Uranus is conjoining the sun on May 17th. This is the very end of Uranus’ time in Taurus (it moves on to Gemini next month!), so this is the last conjunction it will make with the Sun. Uranus wants to shake things up, and Taurus (where it’s been since 2018) is not very shakeable! Uranus is not a happy camper in Taurus, so the shakeups that do happen are much more exaggerated (think earthquake). This last conjunction with the sun before Uranus moves on is definitely bringing a buzzy “expect the unexpected” energy right now.
Adding to that buzz - the Full Moon in Scorpio happening on Monday! She’s big, bold, and ready to dig under every hidden surface to unearth what’s not being dealt with. This full moon is happening in opposition to the sun/uranus conjunction, so it’s really supercharged with the “shock” energy. I just pray is the shockers getting shook this time around!
Realistically, we should all be ready to ride the quakes in whatever way they show up. As the saying goes: “If something goes wrong in your life, just yell PLOT TWIST and move on!” (This could be an anthem for Uranus.)
Take extra care of your body. Full moons bring a super charge to the energy in the air, and that can cause us to really ignore the signals your body is giving you around what it needs. Drink your water, get sleep (when you can, because - full moon), lay down if you get that afternoon lull. But, as my former coach Jenn Raccioppi used to say, use the energy while it’s there! If you get a creative urge over the full moon, ride that out as well.
The other aspect that is building underneath all of this is Saturn’s move from Pisces into Aries. There have been at least 8 different aspects poking Saturn over the last couple of months (Neptune, Mercury Retrograde, Venus Retrograde, The nodes, the Sun). Saturn is in the last degrees of Pisces and moving into Aries on May 24th.
Personally, I am very much looking forward to this transit. It all depends on your birth chart, but the place Saturn has been for the last 3 years has been particularly uncomfortable. Any planet in the last degrees of a sign is kind of at it’s wits end, so to have both Uranus and especially Saturn there right now feels particularly angsty. We are soooooo ready for change (Uranus), but it just doesn’t seem to want to come (Saturn).
The fact that change hasn’t come yet does not mean you’re doing something wrong. If you aren’t following your Strategy & Authority, yeah - you’re going to bump up against your not self and have a lot of rework. But if you’re following your S&A (to the best of your ability because that too is a process), then your invitation here is to trust. Trust that the mountains that need to be moved are being dealt with on your behalf. Trust the timing of your life. Trust that your efforts will not be wasted.
Don’t quit right before your breakthrough!
This week, I’m following up with two women that started the immersion last week, and I’m wrapping up ongoing work with two other women. I’m really struck by how profound it is to connect the themes and archetypes from your birth and HD chart to the specific experiences you’ve lived out. I feel so passionate about the impact this makes on your life, and the ripple effects that has to everyone in your orbit!
Here’s why:
1) it humanizes your specific experiences. The literal perspective shift is so profound because you have the opportunity to zoom out.
2) It fuels acceptance. Acceptance doesn’t mean you like it. It doesn’t mean it’s easy. It simply means you stop resisting it, and that opens up so much space for wisdom and learning to come in - which is what actually invites the whole experience to alchemize into something new!
3) it gives you a feeling of connectedness. Listen, if you don’t realize we are all interconnected, I’m not sure this space is for you. Lol. But, even knowing that to be true, we still feel alone. (This is by design, but that’s for another day.) Every way that we can remind ourselves of how beautifully interwoven we are is a balm to the soul!
I am so inspired by the creativity and beauty opening up for these two women starting the work. They’re both incredible leaders in their own way - one’s a 4/6 profile and the other a 5/1. Likewise, I am so excited for the two women transitioning out of this program - also incredible leaders (a 2/5 profile and a 5/1!). The confidence, clarity and trust that you cultivate when you’re finally putting your own inner compass in the driving seat will never stop amazing me!
I don’t believe anyone else has the “answers” for you (trust me, I’ve tried that route and it only led me to bitterness). I feel deeply that the answers are in and around you, but I love helping you connect the themes and understand your energy so you can recognize the answers more easily.
So, while it may seem woo or a curiosity to do this work, I want to reflect back the transformation and wins of those who are answering the call!
It is my deepest honor to support you all on your path, in whatever form that takes ✨
Sending many many full moon and Mother’s Day blessings!
